Landing in Dubai always feels like stepping into a city of the future. As my cab approached Dusit Thani Dubai
the hotel's unique inverted “Y” shape against the skyline immediately caught my eye. Check-in was smooth
with the signature Thai greeting of wai (palms pressed together) and a warm smile — a small gesture that already made me feel welcome.
My room on the 28th floor offered stunning views of Burj Khalifa and Sheikh Zayed Road. The room had a cozy blend of contemporary comfort and Thai-inspired decor. I spent the evening unwinding with room service and enjoying the glittering night views from my window.
The hotel's location is gold. A quick shuttle ride (and sometimes a leisurely walk) took me to Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa. Spent hours exploring the aquarium
virtual reality park
and of course
the endless shopping.
Evenings were reserved for the Dubai Fountain Show — still one of the most magical experiences here. I grabbed a bite at The Dubai Mall’s Food Court
a haven for international flavors.
Back at Dusit Thani
I made it a point to unwind at Jones the Grocer on the ground floor — their flat whites and pastries are a must-try.
After days of exploring
I indulged in the Namm Spa at Dusit Thani. The traditional Thai massage was exactly what my travel-weary body needed. Later
I spent hours by the rooftop pool. The views of Burj Khalifa while floating in the infinity pool are something everyone should experience once.
Dinner was at Benjarong
the hotel’s signature Thai restaurant. Their Tom Yum Goong (spicy shrimp soup) and Green Curry Chicken brought authentic flavors straight from Thailand to my plate.
The following days were packed with a Desert Safari and a visit to Dubai Marina. The hotel concierge arranged a smooth safari booking — dune bashing
camel rides
and a sunset that painted the sand golden.
Evenings were best spent back at the Dusit Club Lounge on the 37th floor
sipping cocktails with panoramic city views.
I even managed to squeeze in a late evening at La Mer Beach
a recommendation from one of the hotel staff — and what a find! Beachfront cafés
art murals
and a laid-back vibe that contrasted beautifully with the city's usual glitter.
Dusit Thani Dubai perfectly balances Thai warmth with Dubai’s cosmopolitan luxury. The location is unbeatable
the staff genuinely hospitable
and the facilities world-class. Whether you’re in town for shopping
sightseeing
or just a luxurious city break
this hotel delivers on all fronts.
Would I stay here again? In a heartbeat.
Here’s to more sunrises over Burj Khalifa and evenings in the infinity pool. ???
